The COrE workshop series is dedicated to the professional development of the GTSBE membership.

Communication Skills*
September 16th
-Prepare yourself to communicate with corporate representatives. Learn both interview skills and your ‘elevator’ pitch to sell yourself effectively
-Useful for the Corporate Networking dinner as well as job interviews
Dinner Etiquette* (Corporate Networking Dinner)
October 21st
-Learn how to dine with class in a business setting as well as communication during a meal
-Extremely important for the Corporate Networking Dinner
Resume writing
November 18th
-Find out how to write the perfect resume, or just enhance the one you already have
-Useful for the collection of resumes for the GTSBE Career Fair (November 20th) and FRC
Accepting a Job Offer
January 22nd
-How to choose between multiple job offers. Compare the differences between packages and find out which is the best choice for you.
-Held the week after the career fair to assist in choosing job offers
Using the Career Services website
February 17th
-Learn to search for job opportunities using the GA Tech site, CareerBuzz
As shown, the workshops are timely spaced around the professional events happening around campus. 'The series is FREE if you register here prior to the workshops, and $1 per event at the door if you do not register.
